I have been licensed in property, casualty, life and health since April 2008. I started as a captive insurance agent but felt I could not bring the proper value to my clients. I became an independent agent a little over a year later in June 2009. I am a lifelong resident of Avon. I went to Avon High School. I hold a Master of Divinity and bachelor’s in biblical studies. I was an IHSAA basketball official for 17 years.
The reason I became an agent was to connect in a deeper level in the community. Insurance is something that everyone needs, but does not understand. It is my privilege to educate everyone on coverage, what determines the premiums and how to control those factors effectively.
I really love to create furniture and other wood products to use in my home remodel projects during my free time. If I am not at my office, you can find me in my workshop creating more things to use in my home. It brings me great satisfaction! I am a published author of a Christian devotional book “A Common Devotional from a Common Man.” In addition, I have recently begun work on a new novel which I hope to complete soon.
I started working for Avon Insurance Associates in the Fall of 2013.
I was born and have grown up in Avon Indiana. I have been fortunate enough to have studied at Ivy Tech and Indiana University. I relish in the challenge to work with my community to meet all their insurance needs. I enjoy the variety of unique challenges that I face daily in the insurance field.
When I am out of the office, I spend my time with my family and friends, typically playing board games. My guilty pleasure is watching bad B-Rated Sci-fi movies, especially the ones with terrible special effects. I support Geeks4Good a non-profit twitch variety channel whom raises money for many worthwhile causes.
I started working for Avon Insurance Associates in the Fall of 2019. I was born and have grown up in Avon Indiana. Prior to working for Avon Insurance Associates, I worked for GEICO for 6 years, starting as an agent before moving into HR. Before starting into the insurance field, I worked as a customer service representative within both retail and financial institutions.
When I am not in the office, I am usually spending time with my husband and stepson. I’m an avid reader, trivia fan and Disney fanatic.
